Fall Home Tour: Cozy Decor Ideas That Won’t Break the Bank

I am so excited to share my fall home tour for 2025!

Well, hello, friends! I am so excited to share my budget-friendly fall home tour with you today. It actually feels like fall outside! It’s windy and there’s a chill in the air. I just felt like decorating today!

You can watch my full fall home tour above! In the video, I was going to take you along with me as I decorated, but I got in the zone and just went ahead and did it all without recording. I’m sorry! I know you guys like to see the process, but it was a mess haha there were stems everywhere. I’ve got it all vacuumed up now, and it feels so cozy.

Fall Home Tour: Entryway
Let’s start here in the entryway. I have a small entryway, but I’m thankful for it. It’s a good landing spot for shoes and coats. All I did here was add some fall stems in a little basket that I thrifted for $15.

Remember a couple of weeks ago when I dried a bunch of leaves for fall decor? I mixed those dried leaves with some beautiful little berry stems, and I just love it.

I’ve been doing this for two or three years now. I did the same thing right behind me in another thrifted basket I got for $5. I filled it with more leaves and berries, added a pumpkin and a little scarf I have hanging up.

I added more fall stems to the basket hanging on my closet door, and the wreath I made a few weeks ago to my front door. That’s my fall entryway, and I really love this little space.

Living Room
My entryway opens up into the living room, so let’s head there next. I kept things simple in this space too.

I got a new basket at The Found Cottage during a blog retreat with my friends. I filled it with more dried leaves and creamy florals for warmth in front of the fireplace.

I’ve sprinkled a few pumpkins around and filled a bowl on the coffee table with thrifted faux fruit and some real pumpkins from a friend’s garden. I haven’t officially purchased pumpkins yet—just using what I have.

Next to the couch is a basket with cozy blankets for chilly evenings. I added dried hydrangeas to the corner shelf, and I love how they look billowing out of the basket.

I used more dried baby’s breath between two chairs and brought in some texture with a rusty and blue floral blanket I bought a couple of years ago. It’s perfect for fall.

Underneath my artwork, I placed more stems, and I just love how it all came together. I’ll show more footage of the space, but overall, I’m really happy with it.

Fall Home Tour: Sunroom
Now let’s quickly move into the sunroom. I don’t do much decorating in here, just a few fall pieces on the shelf. I filled the top basket with some beautiful stems I got from Walmart a couple of years ago, mixed with creamy white florals from Hobby Lobby.

I also added my little framed leaf art that I made during a recent DIY fall project. I moved the other piece of leaf art to another wall so it wouldn’t feel too busy.

I love the view into the sunroom from the living room, so I always make sure these shelves are decorated. I also like to add some fall pillows and blankets to the built-in bench here as well. The other shelves are filled with homeschool materials, which is not quite as pretty, but that’s real life!

Sometimes I sit here with my tea, light a candle and just watch the shadows dance and thank the Lord for His beautiful creation.
Dining Room
Moving into the dining room! I wanted a “bam” fall feel right away. I filled a vase with those pretty little berries and more dried stems. It’s such a thrifty idea; just pick leaves from your yard and fill a vase!

You may notice the vintage scale on the table. My friends Rod and Christy gave it to me. You can see more finds from my trip to Wisconsin here. I think it’ll look cute with pumpkins on it soon.

The hutch didn’t need much, just a basket with dried stems and a few pumpkins. Dried flowers are such an affordable way to decorate. Take advantage of what’s in your garden and yard!

On the corner hutch, I hung a fall wreath from Hobby Lobby with some velvet ribbon and filled a crock on top with more dried hydrangeas.

Kitchen
Let’s head into the kitchen. As you enter, I’ve set a beautiful thrifted basket on an antique table. I paid $2.99 for it and filled it with thrifted pears. I might switch them to pumpkins later.

I’m using dried hydrangeas on this table too. There isn’t a ton of fall decor in the kitchen yet, just a few faux pumpkins here and there. I did add some faux stems to a vase, which I picked up at Jo-Ann’s or Hobby Lobby.

I kept my breadboard display pretty simple as well. Just a dried stem hanging from the peg rack. I have a full tutorial on how to build your own breadboard display if you’re interested!

These little picks are so affordable and cute for fall. I added more stems near the sink and love how they look.

I did hang the pumpkin sign I made above the sink. Still unsure about it; maybe I’ll paint the letters green. I’m also on the lookout for plaid kitchen towels to bring in more cozy vibes.

One of my favorite ways to decorate for fall? Baked goods! I’ll be pulling out a glass cake stand and filling it with yummy fall recipes. That, to me, is beautiful fall decor.

The kitchen is very simple, but I’ve found myself simplifying more and more over the years, and that’s totally okay.
Fall Home Tour: Final Thoughts
Thank you so much for joining me on this fall home tour! I haven’t done one in a long time.

Overall, I really love how the house came together. It was so sweet; my husband came in after I finished decorating and said, “Oh, it just feels so cozy in here.” He told me he loves fall, especially when I bake fall treats. That just warms my heart.

I love homemaking. I love creating a space that feels warm and welcoming. Now I’m excited to dive into fall baking, homemaking, and all the cozy things this season brings. Don’t forget to sign up for my free mini homemaking course below for more homemaking inspiration!
