Tour our English Cottage Revival Style Home
We live in an English Cottage Revival style home that was built in the 1930’s. It’s a quaint little house that was quite the fixer upper both inside and out when we purchased it. If you’re interested in the before photos, you can check them out here. I love to look back every once in a while and see how far we have come!
Come on in!

When you enter our home, you step into our entryway. We have completely made over this space by adding slate floors, bead board to the walls and and faux beams to the ceiling.

Right off of the entryway is our living room. Again, this room has come such a long way. We added a stone fireplace with built-ins on either side and brightened up the paint colors with Halo by Benjamin Moore.

Right off of the living room through the French doors is our newly refinished sunroom!

We added a DIY desk built-in and now this space works perfectly as my office, as well as a place to paint!

Through the archway in the living room is our dining space. My husband built our table and we added some board and batten as well as some DIY shelves.

The dining room leads right into our galley style kitchen. We have done so much to this space! We added a stone feature wall, faux beams, a subway tile backsplash, and a high back sink! We also discovered a way to hide our dishwasher with some reclaimed wood…I just love how it turned out!

Our bedroom didn’t need a lot of work thankfully, just some paint and vintage pieces to add character. We made the headboard, the so much of this room was thrifted!

Our backyard patio space has become one of my favorite “rooms” in the house. We gave our shed a makeover and added a pea gravel patio. It is so charming and I love spending the evenings out here.

I hope you enjoyed this tour of our English Cottage Revival Style home! Thanks for stopping by sweet friends!
