Cottage Style Christmas Bedroom with Blues and Whites

I realize Christmas is just two days away, but I wanted to be sure to share every aspect of Christmas decor in my home this year with all of you. Today I am sharing our cottage style Christmas bedroom with blues and whites.
Every year no matter how early I decorate, Christmas just comes so quickly. For those who follow me on Instagram or Facebook, I am sure you’ve seen in my stories how much I really love to celebrate this time of year. From Christmas movies, to cookies, to crafts with my boys, I cherish every ounce of Christmas tradition I can.
Now that I have shared our living room, kitchen, bathroom, dining room and sunroom with you, I am excited to finally share our cottage style Christmas bedroom with blues and whites.

Our bedroom is a very special place in our home. For my new subscribers, or those that may not remember, our master bedroom and bath are the entire upstairs of our home. Our family spends a lot of time in this space. Similar to other areas of our home, I chose to keep our bedroom very simple this year.
One of the first things I did in our bedroom was add a Christmas tree. I LOVE having a Christmas tree in our room each year. There is nothing more cozy than waking up in the morning and sipping a cup of coffee next to a beautiful Christmas tree.

I kept the decor on the tree very simple. I used a few blue and white bulbs, ribbon and a few vintage glass ornaments. At the top, I simply tied more ribbon into a bow and let it drape down. I have a few gifts underneath and used a five dollar scarf as my tree skirt!

The ribbon I used on our tree is a beautiful smoky blue ribbon that I found from Hobby Lobby a few years ago. I also used the same ribbon on my wall sconces as well as a bundle of eucalyptus I hung on our headboard to add some festive Christmas cheer. Isn’t it so beautiful? I love decorating with ribbon for Christmas. It is so simple and adds the perfect touch to our Christmas bedroom.

On the other side of the bed, I continued on with the eucalyptus and ribbon with a small eucalyptus wreath. I also added this rocking horse to our night stand. I found the horse this past summer at an antique store while shopping with my mom. The chippy blue color is perfect for the blue and white theme I am going for, and I simply added eucalyptus and small fairy lights underneath. The horse reminds me of a toy underneath the tree on Christmas morning!

I didn’t change out our bedding at all, I know a lot of people change out their bedding for Christmas, but since I chose a cottage style Christmas bedroom with blues and whites the bedding matched perfectly!

Well, like I said our decor is very simple, but I absolutely love it and I hope you do too. I am so happy that I was able to squeeze in this last post before we go and celebrate my favorite time of year with our families. Thank you all for your constant support and encouragement and I hope each of you have a very Merry Christmas!

What a beautiful post. I’m new to your blog so I’n making pots of tea and reading your postings backwards. Your home is warm simplicity, my favorite. I’m so glad I found you. best wishes to you and your family for a joyous Christmas and a Happy New Year.
So very pretty! Can you share what kind of tree you have? I also love the more sparse branches.
Thank you so much, I don’t know if this specific tree is available anymore, but there are so many similar trees that you would love made by Puleo International, you can buy them from multiple sources too!
Hi,
I’m interested in your bed. It is beautiful & simple, I love it! Did you build/DIY it? Do you have any links or sources? Can you tell me all about it?
Thank you!
Hello! It is just a frame, but we made the headboard! I explained how we did it here: https://www.pineandprospecthome.com/5-affordable-decor-diys-that-look-expensive/ I hope this helps!
