I’m sharing my cottage sunroom gift wrapping station today so that you can see how everyday Christmas items can be used for decor, as well!

It’s crazy to me that I’m sharing this cottage sunroom gift wrapping station just 10 days before Christmas. Goodness gracious! Are any of you even still decorating?! Don’t forget, you can always pin these images and save them for next year! Either way, I hope this inspires you.

I already shared a few sneak peeks of my sunroom built-ins back when I talked about some thrifty Christmas decorating ideas. Today I’d really like to focus on my desk area!

Rather than constantly putting all of my gift wrapping supplies away every time I used them, I decided to leave them out on my sunroom desk area, instead!

From the variety of ribbon to the classic wrapping paper, all of it is just so beautiful that I figured, why not use them for decor, as well?

I have this vintage mitre box that I picked up at an antique store for just a few bucks, and it’s the perfect little container for my ribbon! I love using neutral colors like gray, white and gold, but I also love different textures as well.

I love the vintage feel of brown craft paper for presents, and I paired it will a really pretty blue striped paper from Target this year. Both rolls simply lean against the wall behind my desk.

I have lots of other gift accessories available, like vintage inspired tags as well as some fresh cedar to tuck into presents if I so please!

I love the look of the cedar tucked into every corner. It adds an old fashioned feel, and I even added some to the garland hanging above our mirror! I took some faux cedar garland from Walmart and just tweaked it to make it my own. Some faux pine and eucalyptus picks and fresh cedar really give it life and movement!

Of course I already shared about my little paintings! I painted some brass bells and flocked trees and they are available for free here on my blog if you are interested in grabbing them!

You can use them for so many things, from ornaments to gift tags. I love the way mine looked tucked into my garland and attached to my stockings.

I love this little desk area, and I especially love the fact that you can see my living room tree through the French doors. Not only that, but we have another tree in our sunroom that makes the whole space feel so cozy and warm.

I kept our sunroom tree pretty simple and continued with the neutral theme I have all throughout my home.

The star was sent to me from a YouTube subscriber! I love it so much and her gift really touched my heart. 🙂

I used wooden bead garlands, white and gold ornaments, and some ribbon that I made myself using material that I cut into 1 1/2 inch strips.

I love having so many trees this year! I even have one in my dining room and it makes me so happy!

  1. What a great use of space! I love your tree too. I would like to be able to decorate my tree a little more simple. It’s hard to do when you have ornaments that your children made plus handmade ones from friends. I just love your house. It feels warm without tons of stuff. So glad I found your blog.
