Still Love Our Woven Roller Shades (2026 Update + Affordable Lookalikes)
Today I’m sharing my 2026 woven roller shades update, plus budget-friendly alternatives to get the same look for less!
Hello sweet friends! Can you believe it’s been almost ten years since we installed our woven roller shades from Select Blinds!? I wrote a five year review in 2022, and I thought since it’s almost been another five years that it was time for an update!
I honestly still get so many questions about my woven roller shades, so today I am answering them all! Unfortunately, the exact shades I purchased for my home are no longer available, so I’ll also be sharing some similar options, including budget-friendly alternatives!

Quick Update: Are They Still Worth It?
Short answer: yes! I use my woven roller shades daily and they have held up perfectly over the past nine years. I would absolutely purchase them again, and I recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful, light-filtering shades. I love these shades so much that I have them in my living room, dining room and sunroom!
How They’ve Held Up
Every night I pull our woven roller shades down, and every morning I pull them back up, so when I say they get use daily, I mean it! I haven’t had any issues with how they function, aside from occasionally having a little trouble getting them perfectly level with each other when I pull them back up. There are a few loose strings here and there, but they can easily be clipped off with a pair of scissors and absolutely don’t affect the overall look and function of my shades.
The light filtering is great because I love natural lighting and I didn’t want total blackout shades. However, that option is available on their site if that is what you are looking for! They have so many stylish, timeless options and I really feel the woven shades have a classic look to them.

Finally, here is what our woven shades look like today! In my opinion, they look just as good as when we originally installed them. I have zero regrets.
