Blogging for me started out as a creative outlet to share my passion for all things home. It has grown to be more than I had ever dreamed, and today I am sharing how I doubled our family’s income as a stay at home mom.

I have some exciting news to share with you today! I have officially launched an online course which details how I doubled our family’s income as a stay at home mom. Am I really typing this?!?

I have been working so incredibly hard behind the scenes to create something that I truly hope will be a blessing to so many. An online course that shares my own personal journey and the steps I took in order to monetize my blog. 

I’ll be honest, I did not want to do this. I put it off for so long and told myself that I wasn’t qualified to teach a course on blogging, and that I definitely didn’t have the time to create one.

But over the past few months, friends began to reach out with questions about blogging.

Never in a million years would I have thought that I would ever be in a position to offer advice, but I was more than happy to help in any way that I could. After all – so many people helped me in the beginning and I wanted to pour that same love and kindness back out onto others. 

With each conversation a seed was planted, and I wondered in my heart if there were more women out there that needed help with their blogs, too. Maybe they were praying for guidance and I could be the one to help them in their journey. 

The nudge in my heart to create a course grew stronger, and I finally surrendered and decided to go all in and teach everything I have learned over the course of 3 years blogging. 

I don’t have a passion for blog education, I’m not sure I ever will. But helping, encouraging, and uplifting others? I enjoy every minute of it. I can’t tell you how excited I am that my course is now available, and my hope is that it’s a blessing to many.

How I Doubled Our Family’s Income as a Stay at Home Mom – My Story

I started my blog in 2017 with a desire to inspire and encourage people. What I didn’t realize is that there is so work involved in order to get your message out there. 

For two years I struggled, wondering if my blog would ever provide income for our family. Every time I wanted to throw in the towel, God opened another door. He brought the right people in my life and provided the means to learn more. 

In May of 2020, after implementing everything I had learned consistently, I made my first $800 from my blog. It was so surreal and something I had dreamed of for so long! 

Now, here we are a year later – and I can say that my blog has doubled our family’s income in one year’s time. It doesn’t seem real – but I have the privilege of pursuing my passion from home, and making money while doing it.

Like I said earlier, this course is a culmination of everything I have learned over the course of three years blogging. It’s designed for those who have started a blog, just like I did in 2017, but they don’t know how to monetize it.

I love what I do, and it’s my desire to see other women pursue their passion the way I’m able to pursue mine. 

No, blogging is not all about the money. My “why” is so much more than producing income. But when the content that I work so hard to create is monetized? It feels like a dream come true. And I want that for you, too. 

I kept my course really affordable because I know how hard it is to invest into your blog when you’re not making any money from it yet. I’ve said it a million times, but I truly hope that this course is a blessing to so many.
