Decorating our fall kitchen with copper, leaves, and eggplant accents was not my original plan for this year. But if you caught my fall dining space that I shared yesterday, I was surprised to find some beautiful fall stems at Joann’s this year in the most lovely purple shade.

Our dining room is all ready for fall, and this year I'm using eggplant as an accent color!

I was a little nervous about it since I usually stay pretty neutral in my fall decor, but once I brought it home I loved the autumn warmth that this eggplant color brought to our home!

I’m currently using those stems in both my dining and living room, so I went looking for more fall florals in that same color for our kitchen. Well, I happened to find some of the prettiest little faux berries at the Dollar Tree, and I mixed them with some fresh leaves from the trees in our yard for a little arrangement next to our sink.

The berries are a bit more pink in color than the other stems I found, but for now they will do just fine. I love how beautiful they look with the white pumpkins tucked close, and the addition of the copper soap dish really feels like fall to me.

I continued with that same theme of copper, leaves and eggplant throughout the kitchen. Groupings of small white pumpkins and fresh leaves bring fall to each little corner!

I kept a lot of things in my kitchen the same, including the vintage artwork I found while antique shopping this summer with my Mom, as well as the vintage crock near the sink that I used for my fall arrangement.

I did decide to switch out the florals in the basket above the fridge. These flowers have a creamy fall color and dusty green leaves and they read autumn to me.

The DIY chalkboard in our kitchen got a little touch of fall as well! I simply added some leaves from my yard and switched it up to say “Fall To Do’s”, with a list below of things I’d like to do with the kids this fall!

Things like pumpkin carving, visiting the corn maze, and drinking apple cider are just a few of the things on my list this year. 🙂

I like to keep the far end of the kitchen counter clear in the fall for baked goodies. Just last week we made apple muffins, and while I haven’t had the change this week to make anything yet, I usually have some type of baked treat sitting out for my little men during this season.

My zucchini bread and banana bread are both big hits this time of year!

I like to decorate the little table that sits off of our kitchen for fall as well. A simple vignette of pumpkins, eggplant and leaves was just enough to pull the colors together.

I hope you enjoyed my early fall kitchen with copper, leaves and eggplant today, friends! I know it was so very simple, but it’s always fun sharing with you guys. Let me know what you think in the comments below!

  2. Hi! I just subscribed to your YouTube channel after watching your fall kitchen decor video. Absolute love how you decorated it. I’m obsessed! You’ve inspired me to look at what I already have outside, instead of splurging my money on home decor from the stores. Anyways, I just wanted to say that I love the natural and simplicity of it all in how you decorated your kitchen for fall. Take care and God bless!
