Hey friends!

As I mentioned before, I absolutely love to cook and bake. There is something so special about hearing, “this is yummy, Mommy!” after you’ve put your time and energy into a meal or dessert for your family.

I have always dreamed of one day putting recipes on my blog, not because I feel like I’m an amazing cook. I just love finding those awesome, no fail recipes that are delicious each and every time, and I find so much joy in sharing those recipes with others.

It seems silly, but when so many people reached out to me on Instagram just to tell me how much they loved my mom’s meatloaf recipe, It made me so happy!

So, I am going to continue to share my favorites with you, as I’m able. This season of my life can be chaotic at times, and on some days, getting dinner on the table feels like a miracle let alone taking pictures of that dinner, ha!

Today I thought I would finally share my all time favorite banana bread recipe, again given to me by my mom. It calls for 1 cup of bananas, but I like to use 6 bananas for a moist and delicious bread. I have tried this recipe using 4 bananas and it was still yummy, but if you enjoy a super moist bread like I do, 6 is the way to go!

Recently I found out that I have Celiac Disease, so I decided to try this recipe using Pillsbury Gluten free flour. It’s a blend that my mom and sister both recommended, and I have to say, the bread came out so much better than I imagined! My husband said that he never would have known it was gluten free if I hadn’t have told him. Yay!!

  1. Andrea, this looks delicious! I’ve use Pillsbury GF before, but didn’t use it for a tea bread. Got to try this recipe soon.

    Thank so much

  2. Back again Andrea, I made the bread and it is delicious!!!!!!
We already ate half the loaf in the first day. So yummy. I have a “What I’m Eating This Week”post every Monday, and would like to include your picture of the bread and a link back to the your site. Let me know if you are fine with that.

  4. I made this recipe yesterday and it really is the best banana bread. It is now our family’s favorite. I used King Arthur flour because that is what I had on hand. But I also used coconut oil in lieu of butter, and Silk Almond Milk plain yogurt, since we also cannot eat or drink any dairy. It was amazing. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I’d love to see more of your gluten free recipes as well.

    1. Yes, I think those would work just as well, I would keep an eye on baking time though, that may need to be adjusted 🙂

  5. 2 stars
I followed the recipe exactly as listed but used Bobs mill cup for cup GF flour. I’ve had to increase the baking time to almost 2 hours and it’s still raw in the middle. Has anyone else tried Bob’s and had success? I had high hopes for this and maybe it only works with Pillsbury GF flour.

    1. I am so sorry to hear this! I have not tried it with Bobs flour before, but I always have success with the Pillsbury and I have used a Walmart GF flour blend as well successfully.
