Today I’m sharing another set of FREE Christmas printables that I painted just for you guys!
Hey friends! As we near the end of 2021, I wanted to think of a way I could give back to all of you – my sweet readers. This blog wouldn’t be possible without all of your love and support, and you really don’t even know how much you guys mean to me!
Last year for Christmas, I created some brass bell and evergreen printables and gave them away for free. Since so many of you guys loved those and used them throughout your home during the holiday season, I thought I would try painting something for you again this year!
I’m the first to admit that my paintings aren’t anything amazing, haha! But it’s something I truly enjoy doing, and I thought it might be more special if I created something myself for you all.
My sweet husband took Isaiah for me during Thanksgiving break one day, and it felt so good to pick up the paint brush again.
This year, I decided to paint a brass candlestick on a pine branch. I also added some text to the painting that says “let your heart be light.”
Of course those words come from one of my favorite Christmas carols – Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. I can just hear Judy Garland sining it!
But for me, those words have a double meaning. More than anything, I want this blog to be a light to those that read it. I want my words and my home to reflect the the Light of the world – my Savior.
So I hope you enjoy this printable sweet friends! There are so many ways you could use it. For these photos, I simply tucked it into my tree to use as ornaments.
You could also resize the printable and use my painting for gift tags, or even a garland. Whatever you decide to do with it, I hope you’ll tag me on Instagram or Facebook with your creative ideas so I can see them!
