Beef and Broccoli Style Venison Stir Fry

venison backstrap
or flank steak, thinly sliced

Marinade/Sauce

coconut aminos
or soy sauce

apple cider vinegar
or rice vinegar

beef broth

pure maple syrup

Slurry

cornstarch

For Serving

Instructions
Slice venison very thinly against the grain.
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add meat, season with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and cook until browned (about 5–7 minutes).
In a bowl, whisk together all marinade ingredients.
Pour sauce into the skillet with the meat.
Stir in cornstarch slurry and bring to a simmer until thickened.
Add broccoli, cover, and steam for 5–7 minutes until tender.
Serve hot over rice.
Notes
Substitute beef or chicken
Coconut aminos are slightly sweeter than soy sauce, so adjust maple syrup if needed.
