Spring Home Tour Continued

Hey friends!

Today marks one week since we got back from vacation. It always takes a few days for me to get back into the swing of things after being away from home. How about you? We had a wonderful time away, but it feels so good to be sitting here on my own couch in my own living room. There’s no place like home. 🙂

I have some fun projects I hope to share with you all very soon, but in the meantime I thought I would show you the rest of our home all decorated for spring. Let’s start in the entryway!

spring entryway

I kept the spring decor pretty minimal this year. I simply took a variation of different stems and shoved them into a thrifted metal wall pocket for our closet door, and that’t pretty much it!

Our door is painted Kendall Charcoal by Benjamin Moore, and I love the way the green stems pop off of the gray. For some reason these faux stems just remind me of Easter. 🙂

On the right side of our entry, I hung some sunhats on the mirror a added a bundle of hydrangeas to the top tier of my thrifted basket. Like I said, very minimal!

Now moving into the living room…

Again, I really only added pops of bright green and faux floral stems to make our living room feel like spring.

For the barn door, I bought some green stems from Joann’s and made a simple spring wreath.

Other than some faux flowers, the fireplace built-ins didn’t change much.

For this corner, I switched out the side table that was there for a basket that I found with my Mom at an antique store. It makes for the perfect little side table and I love the texture it adds. 🙂

In the opposite corner I really only added some faux flowers.

Since I’ve already shown you the dining room, let’s skip right on through to the kitchen. 🙂

Again, the spring decor in this space is limited to a few faux flowers. Sometimes less is more. 🙂

For my chalkboard I chose to go with something Easter related, and I really like the way it turned out. 🙂

And that’s it friends! I hope you enjoyed our home all decorated for spring. Right now we are currently turning our sunroom into an office/work space and I’m looking forward to showing you guys! I hope everyone has a blessed Easter!

Much love,

Andrea
