Celebrating 10 Years of Marriage – Our First Q & A Video as a Couple
I cannot believe I’m typing this…but my husband and I celebrated 10 years of marriage yesterday in beautiful Saint Ignace, Michigan.
If you follow me on Instagram and watch my stories, you already know that we went away for a few days without the kids and spent some time exploring the Mackinaw area.
I saved all of the photos and video from our trip in my highlights under “10 Years” as well as “Mackinaw Cont’d” if you want to check it out! I had some people asking about where we stayed, so I thought I would link the resort for you here on the blog.
We booked two nights at The Breakers Resort in Saint Ignace, and on Thursday we took a ferry to Mackinaw Island. The weather was absolutely perfect and the views were breathtaking!
While we were there, my husband and I did a short question and answer session for my YouTube channel. I have had some questions come in like – “how do you do so many projects with kids?” and “how do you get your husband to do so many things around the house?” So we answered those in the video. It was so much fun, we laughed a lot and I thought it would nice to have it here on the blog as well.
10 years of marriage. How did it go by so fast? I can’t help but thank God for the wonderful man he gave me. I don’t deserve him. People tell me how beautiful my home is, but so much of it is because of him. I describe my vision and he makes it happen. I’m so thankful for the time God has given us together. He’s camera shy and doesn’t like to be in front of one often, but you can see more of him here. 😉
